TERMOLI, Italy – A summer night overlooking the sea, stage lights and one of the most recognizable voices in Italian music. On Monday, August 17, Antonello Venditti stopped at the Arena del Mare in Termoli with his “Daje! Live Summer 2026” tour, giving the Molise audience an evening built around music, memories and songs that have crossed several generations.
The Termoli concert was one of the dates of a tour deliberately different from the major indoor concerts that have characterized the latest years of the Roman singer-songwriter’s career. For 2026, Venditti has chosen a limited number of outdoor venues, each with a distinctive and evocative setting, with the aim of offering a more intimate show and a different experience from the format of his previous tours dedicated to “Cuore” and “Notte prima degli esami”.
On stage, Venditti looked back over a career spanning more than fifty years through some of the most beloved songs in his repertoire. Songs that have become part of the collective memory transformed the Arena del Mare into one large choir, with the audience ready to sing along with the artist, word for word, chorus after chorus and through every familiar passage.
From “Notte prima degli esami” to “In questo mondo di ladri”, passing through “Sotto il segno dei pesci”, “Ci vorrebbe un amico”, “Dalla pelle al cuore” and “Che fantastica storia è la vita”, the setlist covered different eras of Venditti’s music, alternating more intimate moments with those capable of involving the entire arena.
The musical lineup also made the evening particularly distinctive. Venditti was joined on stage by Alessandro Canini on drums, Amedeo Bianchi on saxophone, Danilo Cherni on keyboards, Angelo Abate on piano and Hammond organ, and Roberta Palmigiani on violin. A lineup designed to highlight the musical side of the show and give a new dimension to the singer-songwriter’s songs.
The Termoli audience responded with enthusiasm, experiencing the concert not simply as a musical event, but as a journey through personal and collective memories. Live Summer 2026” also follows the release of the live album of the same name, released in June 2026 and featuring some of Venditti’s most important hits recorded during his tours over the past two years. Those concerts brought the singer-songwriter in front of more than 300,000 spectators across more than 60 dates, confirming the strong bond that continues to connect him with Italian audiences.
In Termoli, however, there was no need for large arenas or monumental productions. All it took was a stage, a band, a voice and a repertoire capable of immediately bringing memories back to life. When the final notes gave way to applause, what remained at the Arena del Mare was the feeling of having witnessed not simply a concert, but an evening of shared memories.
