The waves of protests, originally sparked in France, Germany and Romania, have now reached Italy, involving farmers from various regions, including Molise.

Farmers have come together to voice their opposition to the new community directives, centering their grievances on the increase in the costs of agricultural diesel and raw materials, unfair competition from international products and the environmental policies of the European Union.
